High Stakes Poker Returns to TV March 1

by Lou on February 25, 2009

Here’s a heads-up for TV poker fans. The Game Show Network’s High Stakes Poker, the only no-limit Texas hold’em poker on television, returns for its fifth season this Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Central Time) on GSN.
Several of the world’s top poker pros will be in action, including Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari.

A.J. Benza returns as host, with popular poker analyst Gabe Kaplan (pictured right) providing commentary.

This is by far my favorite televised poker show, and it seems to be a favorite of most other poker players too. I’m glad it’s starting up again.
